Community Giving

After careful deliberation, Marjorie has decided to wholeheartedly support two of our favorite organizations, maximizing the effect our giving can have. Sadly, we are not able to donate gift certificates due to our size.

Located on the cusp of two neighborhoods, Marjorie participates and fully engages in the success of Capitol Hill Housing and the Central District Forum For Arts & Ideas. Marjorie asks you to join us in support of these two organizations.

Capitol Hill Housing

Capitol Hill Housing provides affordable housing and leads community development efforts.

Operating 42 buildings, CHH both saves historic Seattle apartments and builds new, award winning projects. Our Community Development work focuses on transit oriented development, walkable neighborhoods and thriving commercial districts. We’re proud to develop buildings in a community context and provide affordable homes that strengthen the neighborhoods we live in.

Central District Forum For Arts & Ideas

While drawing attention to what makes Black culture unique, CDForum also seeks to highlight its integral place within American culture as a whole. The time is ripe to celebrate the diverse talents of Blacks in all sectors of our society. The Central District Forum for Arts & Ideas enriches the Puget Sound region by creating a progressive institution dedicated to the cultural and intellectual enlightenment of every citizen.
